B12 Injection In and out in five minutes. Some patients choose a weekly or monthly cadence; whether one makes sense for you is an intake conversation. Easy to add on after a drip.

Five minutes. One shot. B12 by IM injection skips gut absorption entirely — the route that matters most for the people oral B12 quietly shortchanges: vegetarians, vegans, and patients on metformin or acid-reducing medication.

Why book it

Why B12 Injection.

  • Skips gut absorption entirely. A faster, more certain blood level — useful when gut absorption is the actual problem. For most deficiencies high-dose oral B12 also works; the shot buys certainty and convenience.

  • Supports cellular energy metabolism and red-blood-cell production. The vitamin that runs quietly low in vegetarians, vegans, and patients on metformin or PPIs.

  • If you were genuinely low, you may notice it. Correcting a real deficiency can feel like steadier energy over days to weeks — not a stimulant buzz. Adults whose levels are already normal often feel no difference, and we say so up front.

  • Five minutes start to finish. No line, no waiting, no clinic.

What's in the bag

Every ingredient. Every dose. Every reason it's there.

Every component of B12, in plain English. Your clinician can explain any of it on the phone — that's the point of a clinician-run practice.

  • 01

    Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin or hydroxocobalamin)

    IM injection

Cyanocobalamin is the standard preserved form; hydroxocobalamin has a longer half-life. Your clinician picks based on your history. Either reaches the bloodstream without depending on the gut absorption pathway oral B12 needs.

Read before booking

Who shouldn't book B12.

  • Patients with documented hypersensitivity to cobalamin should not receive B12 injections.

Common questions

About B12.

How often is safe?
B12 is water-soluble and the body excretes the excess, so overshooting is hard for healthy adults. That is a safety answer, not a reason to book weekly: without a documented deficiency or a risk factor like a vegan diet, metformin, or a PPI, more frequent shots are rarely useful. Your clinician will say which applies to you.
Where does the shot go?
Intramuscular — usually into the deltoid (upper arm) or the gluteal muscle. Patient choice within reason.
Can I bundle B12 with a lipotropic (MIC) injection?
Lipo-C (the methionine, inositol, and carnitine blend) is part of the Skinny Dip visit rather than a separately listed injection, and it is always paired with methylated B12 when it is given. If you are in the weight-management program, ask at intake and your clinician will price the combination for your plan.
